You know it’s spring when the annual Easter egg donation from United Egg Producers rolls around.

Thank you, Herbrucks Poultry Ranch and Sunrise Acres, for giving more than 200,000 eggs to West Michigan families in need!

The Certified Humane Raised and Handled program is a certification and labeling program  created to improve the lives of farm animals by setting rigorous standards, conducting annual inspections, and certifying their humane treatment.

Humane Farm Animal Care create a labeling program for Certified Humane to ensure that products bearing the label all meet the Humane Farm Animal Care program standards, which includes a nutritious diet without antibiotics or hormones, animals raised with shelter, resting areas, sufficient space and the ability to engage in natural behaviors.
